If your tube is moving right to left you will need to verify that the yellow guide is on the upper portion of the seed tube. View the assembly and disassembly videos for step by step instructions.

When raccoons twist your feeder around trying to get the seed this can happen. To avoid this consider using a swivel hook.
If you feeder is always in the closed position, the first thing you will need to do is verify that the silver nut is not missing on the bottom of your feeder.
If the nut is in place you may need a new spring assembly. You will need to call us at 1-800-856-5685.
If your feeder is not closing please make sure the cover assembly is properly attached. For step by step instructions click here: Installing the Cover on your Squirrel Buster® Classic
If the cover is properly attached, you will need to verify that the feeding ports have not dislodged from the tube.

If your feeder is not going up and down, you will need to make sure that the cover assembly is properly latched. Also, please verify that you are not missing the silver nut on the underside of your feeder.
