The Squirrel Buster® Mini is not an adjustable feeder.

We recommend using black oil sunflower seeds. No-mess blends tend to be oily, some have large chunks of nuts and dried fruit which can clog up the feeder and hinder proper seed flow.
Some birding enthusiasts report good results when using no mess blends with our smaller feeders such as the Squirrel Buster® Standard and Mini.
You do no need to dismantle the seed tube/spring assembly to clean these feeders. Use a bottle brush to get the hard to reach areas.

If your Mini feeder remains in the closed position and the birds cannot access the seed you will need to call us at 1-800-856-5685.
If your feeder remains in the open position you will need to remove the hanger and shroud to be sure there are no obstructions inside the shroud that could be preventing the shroud from sliding up and down easily. If you need help please give us a call 1-800-856-5685
