Thanks Ben, this is once that being lazy paid off. I was in a nylon blind waiting for wood ducks and the rain hit. Since no wood ducks had shown and the light was getting low I was going to pack it up for the day but decided to try to wait out the rain a bit. So glad I did.

Oh Ben, I forgot to direct you to the far right of the photo. This is the back end of another gosling. She had a bunch of them under that wing, and they were quite big!

What a wonderful tender moment! The poor little gosling does not look happy at all and mom looks like she is saying: "It's OK. The rain will be over soon." The amount and size of raindrops are just perfect and I love the background that looks like an oil painting rather than just an out of focus background. An excellent image!

Thanks, I think the background was an old tarp covering a pile of dirt.
