Description: We affectionately call our male Cardinal friend "Pegleg". He lost the use of his right leg more than a year ago but that hasn't stopped him from coming to our feeder with his mate every day. He has perfected balancing on the feeder by grasping the edge with his left foot, swinging his right leg behind and over to the left while using his tail to balance himself as seen in the photos. He used to fly off when we pointed a camera at him but over several months has gotten used to us taking his picture, even posing for us at times.
